We provide a personalized GYROTONIC® Application for Dancers in private and semi-private lesson formats. Utilizing the information from the specialized training course and building on its foundation with our years of instructional and professional ballet experience. The unique and highly functional GYROTONIC®Equipment allows dancers to access their maximum length while maintaining connection, stretch and strengthen without jarring and compression or creating excess bulk. PRIVATE BALLET COACHING
We offer one-on-one private ballet education to help each student understand their proper body placement, discover their un-useful habits and provide alternate ways of approaching every step.
We are not offering performances, costumes or opportunities for additional experiences on stage. We offer the strategies for how to get the most out of your classical ballet training, this includes: increasing technical repertoire, range of motion and fluidity, while honing a student’s artistry, musicality and stage presence. Combining all the information passed on to us from legendary and remarkable teachers as well as company directors and choreographers from around the world.
It is our mission to physically challenge and support our students towards their maximum growth by providing day to day strategies on how to build a healthy and empowered dancer.
Please note that ballet private lessons may include an additional studio fee depending on the venue.
GYROKINESIS®
GYROKINESIS® exercise is generally practiced in a small group setting utilizing a mat and stool, including exercises on the floor, laying or seated and also in standing without the use of GYROTONIC® Equipment.
GYROKINESIS® classes can be adapted to fit anyone's ability. The exercise incorporates many key principles borrowed from yoga, dance, gymnastics, swimming and tai chi, though it is not specifically based on these or any other exercise models. Ideally positions are never statically held, instead aiming for a fluid connection between the postures creating almost a dance that becomes invigorating and toning.
The effect of GYROKINESIS® exercise is an increased range of motion and coordination. The movements take your joints through their full range of motion to increase strength and flexibility while providing a cardiovascular workout similar to a brisk walk. By the end of a GYROKINESIS® session, one's entire system is awakened and brought into greater balance. Focus on the breath stimulates the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems resulting in a sense of calm, wellbeing and mental clarity.
Additionally we supplement our coaching with the principles from the Boris Kniaseff Floor Barre, Progressing Ballet Technique®, Body Code ® Master Stretch.
