Our Mission
 

We are dedicated to the education and discovery of the whole human, assisting individuals to overcome their physical limitations and empowering performance through functional movement practice. Our primary goal is to promote stability, longevity and well-being while minimizing unnecessary injuries. We believe this is best achieved through holistic supplemental discovery, in a training style that is well suited for dancers, athletes, or anyone who is looking for a way to move their bodies more effectively.

Our fully equipped studio is located in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona providing an opportunity for our clients to experience The GYROTONIC® Method on 3 different Pulley Towers: Cobra, Ultima, Ultima XS, 2 Jumping-Stretching Boards, Archway, Gyrotoner and Leg Extension Unit.

Please note that Ballet Private Lessons are taught in collaboration with local ballet studios and will include additional hourly studio rental fees.

My daughter started working with Raissa a year ago to improve her flexibility and reduce injury.  As she trains over 20 hours per week in dance, the most important aspect is to prevent the regular wear and tear that can increase the likelihood of injury.   As I learned from watching and listening to the work done with my daughter, I started to do Gyrotonics as well.  I had a lot of tightness in my lower back, shoulder and elbow areas from many years of playing volleyball.  With age, those areas became less mobile, and I would feel additional pain when working out.   Since I started working with Raissa and Brett, my flexibility and mobility has improved, and I am able to serve, spike and dive pain free.
Both Megan and I are so grateful to have this method of training and for Raissa and Brett's expertise in training the both of us of how to use out muscles efficiently and effectively.
